As the title said, worked the other night. the shift was so bad I completely started to concider not going further to med school. I even looked into other
jobs I could do (with relatively good pay) but I didn't really find anything else. I do have other dreams on what I would rather do with my life. But those
dreams are highly unrealistic. Working in medicine is what makes most sense, especially where I live. I already have experience in it, and recently got my
acceptance letter. It's time to grow up and get an education so I can work fulltime and not worry about rent each month. I guess growing up means
sometimes
giving up on unrealistic dreams. Not all dreams, but at least the dreams that don't seem realistic at all. I really sound pessimistic now.
Let's change subject.
I'm working on another part of this blog. Many other blogs have a media section where the owners talk about media that they like and follow.
I'm planning to do one for this website as well. I've collected sprites and writing lists on what to show. I was thinking mainly having three main
categories. Music, Film/series and games. i would like to have three sprites where if you click, for example, on a computer mouse you will get forwarded
to the games categories where I can glaze mario galaxy for hours. A TV would bring you to a list of shows and movies. Maybe I also should add a book
shelf for litterature? I used to read a lot when I was younger, but since graduating high school I've fallen off.
It's not that litterature for adults are bad. It's mostly just really uninteresting. It's gritty detective mysteries, it's smut or it's horror
with weird sexual or predatory undertones. I do like Stephen King, but he is very guilty of the last part. That's why I haven't read Stephen Kings
IT book. Why'd he even write a book, we've already seen the movie, duuhhhhhhhhhhh...
If I make a litterature part I will glaze the Chronicles of ancient darkness books. Sure, they might be intended for middle schoolers
and up, however I've re-read the first 3 books now, for nostalgia reasons, and honestly I still like it, even though I'm in my mid 20s. I will write
so much about it there. It's a mix of stone age historia, magic, but it's also pretty gritty for being a YA book. Just the right level before it
becomes edgy, just the right level for realism and excitement. It's set in the stone ages after all. a few years ago I'd be too ashamed to tell
people I read a book series thats "for kids", but lately I've stopped caring that much. I guess the older folk I know that always say "the older
you get, the less you give a shit" was right. Thats a bit comforting to realize now when the years are starting to pass on faster.
