I've been a bit busy at work, so this will be a quick one just before going back to work again. Just so I won't forget or slack off. Kinda like learning how to jog.
I really don't have anything important to share, so I might just give some appreciation to one of my favorite albums of all time. Albums which made middle and highschool a bit more bearable.
Three cheers for sweet revenge and I brought you my bullets you brought me your love share a spot in the list of albums I hold dear. It's easier to talk about three cheers for sweet revenge though, since it's actually got a story going through the album.
The story follow the Demolition lovers and their story. The term demolition lovers was actually first seen in my chemical romances first album as a song.
The story of the demolition lovers in tcfsr are a bit debated, since it's a bit vauge, up to your own interpritation, but the key parts to the story is that in the beginning you have two lovers who gets separated by death and the demolition man strikes a deal with the devil where he has to kill one thousand evil men , and then he can be reunited with his love, the demoliton woman, again.
There are many videos that goes into detail and analyze all the songs to get the full picture more specifically, but that was a little summary.
I've been thinking of listening through the album again and reflecting and reading other peoples interpretation. Maybe I'll write what I've come up with here on this blog later. It was a while ago since I actually listened through the album properly.
even if you're not into emo music I'd still recommend giving the album a listen if the story sounds interesting, or if you're just into 00s or alt culture. It is a cult classic after all.
